Our elementary pilot paragliding course combines theory and practical exercises so you can confidently make your first solo flights.  By the end of the week you will:

• Fly solo! 

• Experience taking off, landing, and handling your wing on the ground

• Understand how to safely prepare and check your paragliding equipment

• Learn how weather and the local environment impact your flying

Our small course size means the training is tailored to your needs so each week is slightly different.

During your training, we will discuss what to look for when buying your first kit. As a school, we recommend purchasing equipment before continuing to Club Pilot.  If you opt for the Total Flying Experience, our paragliding instructors will contact you in advance of the course to help specify the right equipment for your flying goals. 

Two courses are required to complete your paragliding training.  To permit you to fly without an instructor, you will need to complete both the Elementary Pilot and Club Pilot courses.
