Hi, I’m Ross, Chief Flying Instructor at Love Paragliding. 12 years ago I followed my passion and moved to Spain to teach paragliding.
I believe people learn best when they have an instructor's undivided attention so I keep our paragliding courses small. Keeping my students safe throughout their flying career underpins everything I do, that's why I developed the LifeLong Learning Guarantee. I work only with instructors who share my passion for paragliding.
Love Paragliding school is accredited with the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA). This means we are monitored for safety, quality of training, and equipment, and all our instructors are licensed. The BHPA rating system is also recognized internationally. Non UK residents can convert their qualification to an International Pilot Proficiency Identification (IPPI/SafePro Para).

What is the lifelong learning guarantee?
We know that qualifying to paraglide is just the start. Once you have achieved your paragliding qualification with us, all our students are offered a free follow on coaching day every year, for life. These days take place every year in Cornwall (UK) and Algodonales (Spain). Join our mailing list to find out more.
training sites
We chose this area of Spain for our paragliding school due to it’s proximity to numerous flying sites and great local training hills. We have a dedicated training hill for beginners, then move onto local mountains.
Having lived and worked here for over a decade, we select our site for each day based on weather conditions and course requirements. You will start by learning to paraglide on our small local training hills, and gradually progress to the higher mountains. We will always try to use multiple locations to maximise the experience you gain.

Our accommodation is within easy walking distance of the town square in Algodonales. All students have a private bedroom, and share kitchens and lounge. Private accommodation can be reserved on request.
Students are welcome to enjoy the facilities at the training centre at any time during their course. Our on site facilities include a large pool area, two relaxation terraces (with 360 degree mountain views) and a communal bar space.
Algodonales is a typical Andalucian pueblo blanco (white town) with a bustling town square and super friendly locals. Within the main square, there is a selection of bar and restaurant options.
Non FLyers
Want to bring a friend or loved one, but they don’t want to learn to paraglide? This area has many other attractions including (amongst others) cycling, climbing, wine and sherry tasting, spas and Spanish cultural experiences. Our support team can organise tailored day or week packages based on individual interests. Just use the Contact form to arrange.
